Due to the inclement weather forecast, several School Districts have modified their schedules to account for potential icy conditions on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. The schedules, as reported by each Independent School District, have been affected as follows:
El Paso Independent School District
The school and workday at all EPISD schools and facilities will start an hour after their normal time on Wednesday, Feb. 5. Please report to school or work an hour later than your normal reporting time.
Morning half-day pre-k is canceled. Full-day pre-k is delayed for one hour. Afternoon pre-k will have a regular start.
Canutillo Independent School District
Canutillo ISD schools and offices will operate on a 1-hour delay. Bus routes will run accordingly. Check www.canutillo-isd.org for the latest updates.
Socorro Independent School District
SISD will operate on a 2-hour delay. Visit sisd.net for more details.
Ysleta Independent School District
All schools and administrative offices in the Ysleta Independent School District will have a two-hour delayed opening from the normal starting time. Buses will pick up at the designated bus stop two hours from the original pick-up time. Visit weather.yisd.net for more information.
Anthony Independent School District
Anthony ISD will be delaying their classes by 1-hour.
Fabens Independent School District
Fabens ISD will be delaying their classes by 1-hour.
Clint Independent School District
No delays or cancellations have been announced. Please check clintweb.net for updates.
Tornillo Independent School District
Classes at TISD will start at 10AM. Please check https://www.tisd.us/ for updates.
El Paso Leadership Academy
Due to weather conditions, EPLA will have a one hour delayed start tomorrow 2/5/2020. The school day will begin at 9 a.m. Updates will be provided through the Robocall & Remind App.
San Elizario Independent School District
SEISD schools and administrative offices will have a two hour delayed opening from normal starting time. Buses will pick up at the designated bus stop two hours from the original pick-up time.
Burnham Wood Charter School District
Due to the possibility of icy road conditions, the school start time for staff and students will be delayed on Wednesday, February 5. Da Vinci’s start time will be 9:00 A.M. and the elementary schools will start at 8:30 A.M.
El Paso Community College
EPCC classes will start at 10:00 AM.
Diocese of El Paso
The El Paso Catholic Schools will be on a one hour delay due to potentially icy conditions on the road. All El Paso Catholic school students and employees are to report to work one hour after the usual start of the day on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020.

ESC Region 19
Due to potential icy conditions, the ESC19 work day for all employees will start at 9AM on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
Ft. Bliss – 1st Armored Division
Additionally, Ft. Bliss has reported that a delayed start work call, at 0900, for all non-essential 1st Armored Division and Fort Bliss personnel has been authorized.
