Due to the inclement weather forecast, several School Districts have modified their schedules to account for potential icy conditions on Wednesday, February 12, 2020. The schedules, as reported by each Independent School District, have been affected as follows:

El Paso Independent School District
Due to potential icy road conditions, EPISD schools and offices will be on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Feb. 12. Please report to school or work two hours later than your normal reporting time.
Catholic Diocese of El Paso
The El Paso Catholic Schools will be on a two-hour delay due to potentially icy conditions on the road. All El Paso Catholic school student and employees are to report to work two hours after the usual start of the day on Wednesday Feb. 12
Anthony Independent School District
Anthony ISD schools will operate on a 2 hour delay on February 12.
Canutillo ISD school will operate on a 2 hour delay on February 12.
Socorro Independent School District
Socorro ISD schools will operate on a delayed start on Wednesday, February 12. All schools will start two hours from their normal starting time. Elementary and Middle school start times will be at 9:45 am. High Schools will start at 10:40 am. All morning half-day Pre-K classes are cancelled for the day. Transportation will be provided two hours from normal pickup times.
Ysleta Independent School District
Ysleta ISD schools will operate on a 2 hour delay on February 12.
Gadsden Independent School District
Gadsden ISD school will operate on a 2 hour delay on February 12.
10 a.m. start for all non-mission essential personnel
Education Service Center – Region 19
ESC Region 19 Admin Staff will have a 2 hour delay start Wed., Feb. 12. However, all scheduled events at our Boeing offices will run as scheduled. For Head Start schedule changes, please check their website for updates- http://esc19.net/headstart.
New Mexico State University at Las Cruces
Classes at NMSU will start at 10:00 am
Clint ISD will announce by 5 AM, if there is a delay or change to the school schedule. Announcements will be posted on CISD’s Facebook, Twitter, and http://clintweb.net.
No delays announced at this time.
San Elizario ISD
Classes will be delayed two-hours.
Fabens ISD school will operate on a 2 hour delay on February 12.
Idea Public Schools
Idea Public Schools will be on a 2 hour delay on February 12. Pre-K classes will begin at noon.
Harmony Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay on February 12.
University of Texas at El Paso
UTEP will operate on a 2 hour delay on February 12.
El Paso Community College
EPCC will operate on a 2 hour delay on Wednesday, February 12.
Texas Tech University HSC El Paso
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso campus will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
Essential personnel at the Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso clinics will maintain their regular hours of operation and open at their regularly scheduled time. Nonessential personnel should report to their clinic at 10 a.m.
Any employee with questions regarding opening hours for their department should contact their supervisor directly.
Students should report directly to their 10 a.m. classes.
El Paso International Airport
EPIA is advising that some flights might be impacted by the weather. Please check with your airline or visit FlyELP.com to find out about any delays or cancellations.
El Paso County
The El Paso County Courthouse and all County satellite offices will have a delayed opening tomorrow, February 12, 2020 for all non-essential personnel due to potential hazardous weather/road conditions. The County Courthouse/satellite offices are expected to resume regular business hours at 10:00AM tomorrow.
